A delicious pasta and ground beef Recipe.
A recipe I prepared while painting back home in Saint Lucia a few years ago.
Cheese manicotti.
Ingredients for stuffing:
I package fresh or frozen spinach,
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
15 ounces ricotta cheese (I didn’t use ricotta. I used only two cheese.
4 ounces cream cheese(I didn’t use dream cheese but you can.)
1/2 cup shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese
2 large eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 box (12 to 14 shells) manicotti noodles
1/2 cup shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese, for topping.
Ingredient for the sauce:
1 pound ground beef.1/2 cup onion chopped.
4 cloves garlic.
2 teaspoons dried oregano.1 teaspoon dried basil.
1 teaspoon salt.1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups tomatoes.( diced )
1 6 ounce can tomato paste.
1/2 teaspoon thyme (powder)
1/2 teaspoon cumin.
Pasta sauce.
