Cruise ships have been stopped from entering the BVI ports for the next 30 days. I heard today March 18 2020, that the airport will be only allowing departures effective 19, March 2020. As of today March 18 2020, no confirmed cases have been reported in the BVI.
In Trinidad and Tobago, I heard that schools will be closed until after Easter. Seven confirmed cases have been reported there.
😷UPDATE: From March 26 to April 2, 2020 6:00am, the territory was on a 24 hours curfew. On April 2, 3 and 4, 2020 we were allowed to go to the grocery to top our supplies in preparation of another curfew period. this time for 14 days.
Only certain business were allowed to conduct business during those three days – grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, banks and bakeries. We were allowed to go out on certain days based on the first letter of our surnames. There were loads and loads of people lined up at the main grocery stores from very early in the morning.
From 8:00 pm on April 4, 2020 the second 24 hours curfew began.

On Saturday April 18, 2020 we learnt that a member of the community passed away because of the corona virus. The 24 hours curfew was supposed to be relaxed from today to a soft curfew from 8 pm to 6 am but with the latest development the 24 hours curfew is extended for a next week.
