Hey guys! So it’s freezing out here in Chicago so I figured I would do a good stew to warm things up a bit. This time for a stew I dug into my Puerto Rican recipes for an awesome Puerto Rican stew. We are doing a Bacalao Guisado, whats that you ask? It is a Codfish Stew. This is a pretty darn easy recipe not a lot goes into it. This is a classic Puerto Rican stew with a lot of great flavors. You should really give this one a try!

Total Time: 20 Minutes cook time (Cod should soak for 24 hours first)
Makes: 6 Servings

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1-1/2 lbs. Bacalao/Cod
1 Cup Bell Peppers, Sliced
1 Cup White Onion, Chunked
1/2 lbs. Yucca or Potatoes

1/4 Cup Tomato Sauce
1 tsp. Oregano
1 pckg. Sazon
1/2 Cup Water
1/4 Cup Pimento Olives
1/4 Cilantro, Chopped
Salt
Pepper
