Ingredients

for the meatballs:
1 Tbsp cooking oil (corn, vegetable, canola)
1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 of an onion, minced
1/4 of a cubanelle pepper, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs or “galleta molida”
1 egg
2 tsp chicken flavor granulated bouillon
1/2 tsp dried oregano or 1/4 tsp Dominican ground oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper

for the sauce:
1 Tbsp cooking oil
1/4 of an onion, chopped
1/2 of a cubanelle pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp white vinegar
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 can worth of water
few manzanilla olives (I used 8)
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
