The Netherlands has a 6 territories in the Caribbean, 4 of which are serviced by KLM from Amsterdam, 3 of which I have previously visited… So I booked a flight to Bonaire!
I could have started from London but that would have required me to pay the UK’s long-haul Air Passenger Duty, which I could avoid by starting in Amsterdam. Plus I know what Heathrow is like and wanted to experience the Schiphol passenger journey…
