Ingredients

2 Tablespoons of Sea Salt
2 Tablespoons of Adobo
2 Tablespoons of Sazon
3 Tablespoons of Oregano
1/4 Cup of White Distilled Vinegar
1/2 Cup of Olive Oil
1 Whole Garlic Bulb

Recipe

First let’s start by peeling the garlic and once it’s peeled we’re going to mash in a mortar and pestle. Now add all the seasonings and the olive oil and combine to form a paste.

Next, Wash your pork shoulder and rinse with some white distilled vinegar. Once that is done we will begin to season it. Start by making slits on all sides of the pork shoulder. Now coat the whole pork with the seasoning paste. Make sure to stuff the slits with the seasoning as well. Cover the pork and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours.

Remove the pork from the wrapping and place in the slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hour. After the 8 hours, remove from slow cooker and transfer to a place and pull pork apart with two forks.

This pairs well with some rice and beans 🫘 , macaroni salad or some tostones!

You can use the leftovers next day to make a yummy cuban sandwich!
