Saint Arnold Oktoberfest Beer Dinner at State Fare Kitchen & Bar
In celebration of fall and Oktoberfest, State Fare Kitchen & Bar is teaming up with Saint Arnold Brewing Company to host a three course craft beer dinner, available at all three locations now through Tuesday, October 31. Highlights include German charcuterie, wagyu medallions with bacon braised spaetzle and brown butter vinaigrette and buttered pecan tart a la mode. Cost is $50++ per person with reservations highly recommended.

“Sit With Us” Dinner at Jūn
OpenTable and Cherry Bombe team up for the returning “Sit With Us” community dinner series spotlighting female-fueled restaurants; and Houston is one of this year’s stops, with a special dinner set for Monday, October 23 at Jūn, 420 East 20th, with chef Evelyn García. Tickets are $135 per person and the event raises funds for LGBTQ youth nonprofit The Trevor Project.

The & Co. Dining Series at Heights & Co.
After a successful run in spring, Heights & Co., 1343 Yale, has brought back its popular collaborative Wednesday night dinner series for five evenings this fall. Next up is a collaboration with Burmalicious by Suu on October 25, followed by Hamsa on November 15 and a Heights & Co. Friendsgiving on November 22. Reserve a spot at the communal table via Resy.
4 Hands by Musaafer
Musaafer, 5115 Westheimer, is hosting the third edition of ‘4 Hands by Musaafer’, a dinner series featuring worldly collaborations with chefs of different backgrounds from around the globe, with James Beard Award-winning chef Benchawan Jabthong Painter on on Wednesday, October 25 at 5 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. The menu for the evening will highlight the distinct culinary heritage of both Mayank Istwal’s (Musaafer) and chef Painter’s backgrounds and homelands. Seats are $190 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Texas Wine Dinner at Rainbow Lodge
Rainbow Lodge, 2011 Ella, is hosting its annual Texas Wine Dinner at 6 p.m. With features from Gulf Coast vuelve a la vida seafood cocktail and smoked lamb empanada to 44 Farms coulotte and cowboy bean ragout, this year’s dinner will feature Reddy Vineyards with special guest Dr. Akhil Reddy. Tickets are $165++ per person.
11th Anniversary Dinner at Etoile Cuisine et Bar
Etoile Cuisine et Bar, 1101-11 Uptown Park, is hosting an 11th Anniversary Dinner at 6:30 p.m., with four courses featuring fowl, beef and fish, all thoughtfully paired with Saint Emilion wines. Austin-based yoga and wine educator Vino Vinyasa has brought its signature classes to Houston, with the next event at C. Baldwin Hotel Houston, 400 Dallas, this Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Your $30 ticket gets you a vinyasa-style yoga class and wine tasting after the yoga flow.

40 Year Anniversary specials at Pappasito’s Cantina
Pappasito’s Cantina is celebrating its 40th anniversary throughout October, with food and drink specials including $40 for 40 Fajitas on Wednesdays starting at 4 p.m., a commemorative 40th anniversary mug with Fiesta Fizz or Pappasito’s Signature Reserva Margarita, and a special Fiesta Fudge Brownie. Mt. Fujiro Bowl at Ramen Tatsu-Ya
Ramen Tatsu-Ya, 1722 California, is bringing back its latest seasonal bowl, Mt. Fujiro, now through late October. An ode to Mt. Fuji and Jiro-style ramen, made popular in Tokyo in the late ‘60s by Ramen Jiro, the fiery, volcanic shaped ramen features a mountain of spicy tonkotsu miso, Aleppo pepper, mung bean sprouts, napa, cha-cha pork, ajitama, chashu and spicy garlic furikake. It’s intentionally spicy, super filling, and decadent. The Killer Combo has also debuted, offering guests the option to add a drink and gyoza for $7 with the purchase of a ramen bowl.
